MV Agusta goes to the MBE 2017 with two exaggerated specials

MV Agusta – MV Agusta arrives at the MBE, the flagship of the international custom scene and a point of reference for the clothing, special parts and aftermarket components market. The protagonists are two exaggerated specials, both derived from the Brutale, the naked icon of the Italian brand.

BRUTALE 800 RR “BALLISTIC TRIDENT”

The first of these specials, the #brutale800rr “Ballistic Trident”, was presented last December at the Hot Rod Custom Show in Yokohama and is already an international success, thanks to viral acclaim from the public and the most influential blogs in the sector. The Ballistic Trident project, commissioned by MV Agusta Taiwan to Winston Yeh, founder of Rough Crafts (roughcrafts.com), workshop based in Taipei, pays homage to the first MotoGP super sports bikes of the last century, characterized by bulky bell-shaped fairings, a style that the Taiwanese designer wanted to reinterpret on the basis of a #brutale800rr. At MBE 2017, the Ballistic Trident will be on display at stand 12D (Hall 1), in the Rough Crafts space.

DRAGSTER BLACKOUT

MV Agusta Dragster Blackout was born from the collaboration between the Varese company and Valter moto Components (valtermoto.com), a company producing high-end accessories specializing in racing components and official partner of the MV Agusta Reparto Corse team, with the contribution of Tecnoart Sersan (tecnoartsersan.com), already a partner of MV on various specials, creator of the graphics and paint job. The basis of the MV Agusta Blackout is a Brutale Dragster, which Valter Esposito, founder of the company of the same name and creator of the concept, wanted to transfigure into a “techno-café racer” that winks at the world of competition and that of 'auto tuning. The reference to the classics of the past, expertly harmonized by the new half-handlebars, is enhanced by a play of full LED lights on the front, which can be activated thanks to side switches arranged in such a way as to themselves constitute a new design element.
