MV Agusta Dragster 800 RR: the America version at EICMA 2018 [PHOTO]

MV Agusta and the name America they have a special relationship. A name already present in 1975, with the S America 750, and used again for some subsequent models. Now the CRC atelier has created a new interpretation, this time on a base Dragster 800RR, which is presented at EICMA 2018, open to the public from today and from 8 to 11 November to the public in Milan. It will be made in a limited edition of 200 specimens, accompanied by the certificate of authenticity.

The characteristics of the MV Agusta Dragster 800 RR America

This unreleased “America” features the above coloring mica blue base with iridescent reflections and horizontal graphic cuts, recalling the original characteristics of the Dragster 800 RR.

The top of the tank is decorated with stars, just like on the 750 S of forty-five years ago. The saddle boasts stitching with golden reflections and specific materials for the part dedicated to the rider or passenger. The spoked rims recall the colors of the US flag: blue hub, red spoke nipples and white channel.

Proposal glossy black finish on some components, such as the front mudguard with the MV Agusta logo and the radiator side decorated with the "America Special Edition" decal, which also adorns the instrument panel cover together with the progressive production number.

The engine of the MV Agusta Dragster 800 RR

As we were saying, the America version is based on the MV Agusta Dragster 800 RR and takes the engine from that three cylinders, which derives from that of the Brutale 800 RR and is Euro 4 approved.

The continuous development of this versatile engine has made it possible over the years to optimize combustion, perfect electronic gas management and increase performance, while reducing mechanical noise and vibrations.
