MV Agusta Brutale: the new range with three-cylinder engine for 2021 presented [PHOTO AND VIDEO]

The new overview MV Agusta Brutal for the 2021 includes versions RR, RR SCS e Red. An evolution of multiple aspects.

Technological innovation

The new version MV Agusta Brutale Red represents the entry model to the range and includes chassis and contents similar to the other two versions, but the three-cylinder engine in this case is weakened, considering 112 horses at 11.000 rpm with a torque peak of 85 Nm at 8.500 rpm. A version is also proposed 35 kW aimed at holders of A2 driving licence.

Moving on to the examples of Brutal RR e Brutale RR SCS, these share the same innovations but the second also includes an automatic clutch management solution Smart Clutch System created by the Varese brand and Rekluse. However, gear changes take place via the pedal, assisted by a bidirectional quickshift system, as indicated.
The technological aspects also include a lighthouse full-LED with cornering function thanks to the presence of an IMU inertial platform defined by e-NOVIA for MV Agusta. A solution that deals with systems such as ABS and traction control.

Also highlighted is a new screen TFT da 5,5 inches in color with interaction linked to MV Ride App and a new joystick-type control when looking at the left block. Also reported is a flyscreen with a modified profile dedicated to the instrumentation which allows the flows to be diverted from the driver's torso. The dry weight is 175 kg.

Technology

There have also been several updates to the structural part, starting with the tubular trellis frame but with new side plates. We have worked on the setting of the Marzocchi front upside down fork with a diameter of 43 millimeters.

The linkage of the rear suspension has also been renewed, considering the presence of a revised adjustable mono-shock absorber taking into account the spring and calibration. Braking system with two front discs confirmed 320 mm flanked by Brembo four-piston radial calipers and a rear disc 220 mm, which is associated with a two-piston Brembo caliper. The material used for the saddle padding is also new.

Motor

Work was also done on the forward-facing engine three cylinders da 798 cc. The approval is Euro 5. New materials are used for the valve guides and new bowls with DLC treatment are listed, a new electronic control unit, new injectors and also a redefined exhaust system. The power reaches 140 horses at 12.300 rpm with a torque peak of 87 Nm at 10.250 rpm. There is an electronic gearbox EAS 3.0.
