MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RR and Rush 1000: two expressions of dynamism at EICMA 2019 [LIVE VIDEO]
A thrust equal to 208 horsepower
MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RR and the unpublished Rush 1000 they represent interesting examples of the constructive and technical research of the Varese brand, on the occasion of EICMA 2019.
A common basis
Looking at the concept Rush 1000, initialed MV Agusta, we perceive a certain kinship with the new one Brutal 1000 RR, considering the similar chassis, albeit with construction details and engineering choices that differentiate the model by amplifying its visual performance. The full-LED front light cluster with cornering function, for example, recalls a solution adopted on the RVS # 1. Of note are components machined in CNC and using carbon fibre, and the titanium exhaust system with dedicated mapping and protective bulkhead in carbon fibre. Also distinctive are the aesthetic choices regarding the saddle, the rear subframe and the rear light, as well as the adoption of a spoked wheel at the front and a lenticular rear one, with a forged aluminum rim covered by a carbon fiber solution and nut. aluminum fixing.
Also mentioned are Öhlins EC electronically managed suspensions and shock absorbers and a racing kit. The drive unit is a four-cylinder in-line engine with Motor & Vehicle Integrated Control System (MVICS) which can deliver a maximum power of 208 horses. There are four driving programs reported, opting between Sport, Race, Rain and Custom, as well as other technological systems such as a shifting solution without the use of the MV EAS 2.1 clutch and an 8-level disengageable traction control.
The start of series production of the MV Agusta Brutale 2020 RR is also expected in 1000, another of the innovations present on the stand of the Varese brand. The already mentioned power of 208 horsepower is pronounced, just as the associated technical and aesthetic choices are characterizing.
