A numbered plate on the 150 units

A sporting expression based on MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RR. The new MV Agusta Brutale 1000 Nürburgring it's a'limited and numbered edition di 150 specimens, developed in collaboration with the well-known German track.

The specialised farming model

The motorbike is covered with a specific livery, consisting of a base in metallic silver and details in red Nürburgring. On the examples a plate appears located on the right air intake which highlights the associated numbering.
You can see a small wing with a deporting function which resembles a compact fairing in appearance near the front light cluster. A detail that increases the load on the front at high speeds, supporting the overall dynamism together with the other aerodynamic components. Also reported is a kit supplied with interesting elements such as a carbon fiber protection for the exhaust and the passenger seat cover, also in carbon fibre.
The 17-inch rims are also made of carbon, made with partner BST. In the version mentioned, the hub machined from solid is lighter and more rigid. Another factor that is part of an overall weight reduction and which increases agility and further optimizes acceleration and braking.
The aforementioned kit also includes a control unit with dedicated map and a titanium exhaust system created based on the Superbike experience of the partner Arrow. Instead of a 4-in-1 scheme, in this case a 4-in-2 system was adopted which involves the coupling of cylinders 1-2 and 3-4 with the very long primary manifold, to develop a high torque . Then there is the transition to the single manifold and the single silencer. A choice always linked to weight containment, this dry weight is 183 kg and with the Racing Kit the figure drops to 177 kg. The saddle is placed at a height of 845 millimetres, the tank can hold 16 liters of fuel.

Technique and technology

The series of interventions made it possible to accentuate the dynamic qualities of this example, as reported. The suspension part includes Öhlins electronic solutions at the front and rear with specific calibrations depending on the dynamism. The Brembo braking system consists of a double front floating disc 320 mm with four-piston Stylema® calipers and a single disc behind 220 mm with two-piston caliper.
Among the electronic solutions together with the optical groups full-LED and an instrument panel 5,5 inch color TFT, there is also a new one inertial platform, Cruise Control, Launch Control, Front Lift Control function, a new MK100 Continental ABS module with Cornering function, a new sensor for the EAS 3.0 electronic gear shift, then MV Ride App, Mobisat anti-theft device, GPS, Bluetooth and integrated navigator.

Motor

The thruster is an a four cylinders da 998 cc which features sixteen titanium valves positioned radially, considering a new material for the valve guides and bowls with DLC treatment to reduce internal friction, just as the connecting rods are made of titanium. We also note a new timing for the cam profiles according to the torque curve and also a modified exhaust manifold. The approval is Euro 5.
Reported power reaches altitude 208 horses a 13.000 rpm with a vertex pair of 116,5 Nm a 11.000 rpm. By adopting the Racing Kit, which includes unloading and a dedicated map, the indicated value is 215 horses a 13.200 rpm.
