MV Agusta Brutale 1000 Serie Oro: the most powerful Naked ever at EICMA 2018 [PHOTO]

La MV Agusta Brutale 1000 Gold Series is ready to make her ad debut EICMA 2018, open from tomorrow to the press and from 8 to 11 November to the public. Closely linked to Superbike, it is defined as the "Most powerful naked in the world” with its 208 horsepower and the possibility of reaching 212 HP, with a dedicated kit, consisting of control unit and SC-Project exhaust system.

While maintaining the typical layout, the engineers revolutionized the original project, precisely to allow the four-cylinder to reach the 208 hp of power and 115,5 Nm of torque. The radial valves now slide through new valve guides and open onto an entirely redesigned combustion chamber. The camshafts have been revised, which have different lifts and timing on both the intake and exhaust sides.

I pistons they use low-friction Asso segments to improve performance and efficiency, while the crankshaft has been redesigned from scratch and rebalanced to minimize vibrations and power absorption at the very high speeds at which it is called upon to spin. Thelubrication system, taking the 'splitter' system from competitions, which allows the oil to be separated from the moving parts.

Obviously, a fundamental component of every engine is exhaust, designed specifically for the new Brutale. The 4-1-4 split was deemed the best for this type of engine. The presence of the shutter valve is useful not only for complying with regulations, but has proven to be fundamental for managing the back pressure in the manifolds and improving the quality of delivery. The four-cylinder allows a maximum speed of over 300 km/h.

The design of the MV Agusta Brutale 1000 Serie Oro

The design reflects the classic style of the Brutale, with its strongly characterizing elements such as the headlight, tank and tail, created and engineered specifically for this model. The Full LED headlight features Cornering Lights and for the first time on a motorbike, the internal part of the light unit is colored and outlines an X shape also taken from the steering base.

All engine and electronic functions are controlled by the color TFT dashboard 5-inch diagonal, with 800x480 resolution, which allows Bluetooth connection with the smartphone to manage incoming calls, messages and music. The MV Agusta Brutale 1000 Serie Oro will be created in a limited series by 300 specimens, with a dedicated kit with titanium exhaust and dedicated mapping.
