Motorrad Days, the BMW motorcycle festival returns to Bavaria

Motorrad Days – The three days of celebration under the German propeller brand for the Motorrad Days 2016 concluded in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany. In the country of Bavaria, a destination for winter ski tourism and a location where the motorcycle sector of the motoring giant gathers for sixteen years now fans from all over Europe, punctual like every beginning of summer and with a program from Friday 1st to Sunday 3rd July, This year too, tents and stands have materialized with new, special motorbikes signed by various preparator workshops (including well-known names at a European level such as Unit Garage di Rimini, Nagel Motors, Blaumann Jeanshosen) and events, all in the name of BMW.

After the 40 thousand participants last year, this year too many locals but also Italians, Austrians, Poles, Ukrainians, Spaniards and others, even if the event, for its 2016 edition, had to deal with a second day, that of Saturday, with practically continuous rain from early afternoon onwards. Between enduro tests, drift shows and many models to photograph, the three German days were also an opportunity to present some recent or new products from the Munich company to the Motorrad Days public, starting from the G 310 R up to the F 800 Gs Adventure renewed in detail, passing from the Concept Lac Rose (an R nineT in 5s Dakar style) and the R5 Hommage, a special built on an R1936 base and inspired by the XNUMX model.

This latest motorbike, which has been defined by the managers of the Bavarian company as a simple design study, has already been talked about in recent weeks for a couple of reasons: the first is the prize received at the Concorso d'Eleganza at Villa D'Este in Cernobbio, while the second concerns the rumors, promptly denied by BMW, that the concept bike built by Ronny and Benny Noren could in the future be the starting point for a new model to be put into production.
