Motor Bike Expo: everything you need to know about the 2019 edition

Motor Bike Expo – From tomorrow Thursday 17th to Sunday 20th January 2019, Verona becomes the capital of two wheels with the 2019 edition of Motor Bike Expo. For the eleventh consecutive year the international motorcycle show therefore stops in the city of Verona, starting from the record numbers of the 2018 edition: 167.000 visitors, 700 exhibitors from all over the world distributed across 7 pavilions and over 60 events.

Motor Bike Expo: what's new for 2019

For the 2019 edition, the organizers Paula Somma e Francesco Agnoletto e veronafiere have prepared four even richer and more exciting days. What does not change is the (winning) formula that characterizes MBE. The exhibition of large industrial production (motorcycles, clothing, accessories and components) is accompanied by that of the custom sector, the world of customisations, specials, unique pieces (true works of art), in which Motor Bike Expo is leader and point of reference at an international level. Special spaces are dedicated to motorbike tourism and sustainable mobility. In the large outdoor areas the show dominates for four days, on two and four wheels; protagonists are stunt men, driving tightrope walkers, enduro riders and drifting specialists, i.e. the art of constantly driving the car into a drift.

The open spaces are also the realm of test-drives of the motorbikes displayed in the pavilions and of the driving school, entrusted this year to a champion like Marco Lucchinelli, former world speed champion. In a certain sense, the streets of Verona will also become test routes: the public will in fact be able to test some cars from the Honda range which, in addition to boasting the title of official car of MBE 2019, with the brand new CRV-V Hybrid SUV, will exhibit not only two-wheeled vehicles from its vast production.
Also in 2019, Motor Bike Expo will be characterized by events: awards ceremonies for sports championships, starting with the CIV, the highest national speed tournament, presentations of sports programs (such as that of the Misano World Circuit), of motorcycles, both special and competition , and teams, book and video presentations, conferences and meetings on accomplished and other planned feats. A particular space is occupied by Motor Bike Education, an absolutely original initiative, now in its 6th edition, which on Thursday and Friday brings almost 1000 students from high schools from all over Italy to the fair and offers them an educational morning thanks to the workshops, short lessons held by professionals at the highest levels of the two-wheel business. The "Living the motorbike" meeting is repeated, promoted by the Motorcyclists Coordination Committee of Verona, which on Sunday 20th will bring a procession of around a hundred motorbikes along a city itinerary to draw attention to safety issues.

Motor Bike Expo: costs and times

Tickets are available directly at the Veronafiere ticket offices or in advance (full ticket only). Coupons purchased at the checkout can only be used on the day of purchase. The cost varies from 15 euros for a reduced ticket to 18 for a full ticket. Children up to 5 years old enter free. Those who are more than 80% disabled are entitled to a free ticket, while their companion can benefit from a reduced ticket. Dogs are allowed at the Fair. If they are small, a leash is sufficient, otherwise a muzzle is also necessary. the fair is open continuously from 9am to 19pm.
