Motor Bike Expo: the doors of the 2019 edition are open

Motor Bike Expo – In an atmosphere of “great beauty” to quote the director Paolo Sorrentino, the inauguration of the 11 edition of Motor Bike Expo. Beauty in the world of two wheels, with exclusive models present at the fair, but also of entrepreneurship, with over 700 exhibitors present who underline the importance of the event.

The "master of the house", the president of Verona Fiere, did the honors. Maurizio Danese"First I want to welcome the 11th edition of Motor Bike Expo. MBE inaugurates the Verona Fiere calendar. The event is growing more and more and today it is one of the main ones at an international level. It is no coincidence that we have reached exhibitors, with an increase of 40% in five years. Here you can admire production motorcycles, prototypes, customs and also lots of clothing. The fair takes place on an area of ​​80.000 indoor and 20.000 outdoor square metres. Last year there were almost 170.000 visitors and of these 25% were foreigners, with a delegation of 400 Japanese. The world of custom involves 80.000 people and gives a great boost to tourism and the valorisation of our country. Motor Bike Expo is an event created by enthusiasts for enthusiasts, with an eye on business but also on the green with a massive presence of electric motorcycles".

Following the speech by Francesco Agnoletto, MBE project manager: “They open the doors of a dream. 25 years ago, when the idea was born, Paola Somma and I would never have thought we would achieve these results. Motor Bike Expo is a celebration of motorcyclists, a moment of gathering with many things on display, an affectionate atmosphere between us and for this reason it is difficult to miss. I walked around the pavilions and saw some wonderful things, which is why I invite everyone to see the fair, telling it is not enough".

The word then passes to Daniele Polato, City Councilor of Verona: “Paola Somma and Francesco Agnoletto had the foresight to believe in a dream and Verona made itself available, also attracting a large number of people including many foreigners who can admire the fair, but also our city. I also like to remember the much work done with schools for road safety education." Finally, the speech by David Di Michele, vice president of the Province of Verona: “The fair is growing with an important trend. This means that there is a high level organisation, important communication and that MBE is an icon of the sector. There are many enthusiasts who generate an important industry with many companies involved. One more reason to invest in this area in which Italy is growing significantly".
