Motor Bike Expo 2022: some previews ahead of the appointment at Veronafiere

An event where customizers can meet enthusiasts in a weekend enriched by the presentation of fifty innovative projects, as mentioned, in various stands and during the contests. Among the most long-lived and prolific is Carlo Colombo of Asso Special Bikes, given the introduction of five new specials and thirty motorbikes on display.
For Punto di Fuga, then, the presentation of a new Sidecar is expected. A "hybrid" work developed on Harley-Davidson mechanics with Indian bodywork and references, as anticipated.
Among the interesting news for the 2022, remaining in the Custom field, al hall 1 a Custom District. An area dedicated to custom culture characterized by scenographic stands, artists, Customizers and faces from the international scene.
A set that surrounds the Simpson stage, a central area where you can admire specials and hot rods. A space-time journey between art and custom culture is envisaged, thanks to the meeting of well-known names in the Italian and international context, admiring unique examples. Tutors and artists include Abnormal Cycles, Boccin Custom Cycles, Boman, Dox, Low Society, Morgese, Moto Marinelli, Niko Bikes, PDF, Radikal Chopper.
On the occasion of Motor Bike Expo Metzeler is also the protagonist for the fifth consecutive time. A renovated stand is anticipated in pavilion 2, but with the characteristic vintage American Airstream caravan. In this January's edition, two motorcycles are announced that highlight Metzeler production: the Naskar Project 02 based on the 2001 Harley-Davidson Softail Standard from the Milanese synergy CD Garage and Kustom Family, then a customized Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 Special and equipped with the new Karoo 4 off-road tyres, making their debut at the event and available from next March. Together with Karoo 4, two other tires for the Pan America model are also under the spotlight: Tourance Next 2 and Sportec M9 RR.
Also scheduled during the event will be the Metzeler Award contest, now in its fourth edition. The award ceremony for the most beautiful customized motorbike at the Show equipped with Metzeler tires with a set of Cruisetec dual-compound tyres, designed for custom examples, is scheduled for Sunday 16 January.
Among the leading motorcycle brands, Benelli is expected with the new range including the new TRK 800, alongside the already well-known TRK 502
Also present at the Moto Bike Expo 2022 were the new Ducati products, being able to admire the recent Desert X, Multistrada, Panigale V4 S and Streetfighter up close.

A journey between different pavilions

Each pavilion of the Verona exhibition area offers a different look at the various two-wheel enthusiasts who have come to the Motor Bike Expo, like the number 4 dedicated as a tradition to those who have made motorcycling their lifestyle. In addition to the most recent Ducati innovations already mentioned, the Heritage range linked to BMW Motorrad is another of the eagerly awaited protagonists of the event, especially with the R18 cruiser and the R NineT also previewed in the versions customized by world-famous top builders and customized with accessories.
Royal Enfield is also among the brands that offer a classic style and on the occasion of the Verona event the presentation of the complete range of 650 Interceptor and Continental GT twin-cylinders is expected, together with Meteor, Classic 350 and the Himalayan 410. Also on display for the occasion three specials built on the 350 platform, between bobbers and flat tracks.
Names such as Barracuda, Continental, Michelin, Pakelo, and names from the motorcycle aftermarket are also expected in Hall 4. Among the preparers, we highlight the intervention of Apache Custom Cycles, Boldi Special & Co, Motociclette Bottega Bastarda, MDMoto and Moto Sport Fratelli Ciot. There will also be a contest reserved for specials and cafe racers linked to the Special Cafe magazine.
According to what has been reported, road motorcycles, off-road vehicles and the electrical sector find space at the hall 5 with an area dedicated to two-wheelers with electric propulsion given the presence of brands such as Cake, XEV Campello Motors, 2Electron and E-Move Zero.
Also expected are the main interpreters of Adventouring, the discipline that combines Enduro and Adventure motorcycling in natural contexts, together with clothing and accessory brands. Among the companies in pavilion 5: Olitema which is the Official Green Partner of MBE, Nolan X-Lite, Garmin, Alpa, Cellularline, Held, SST. The hospitality of the FMI - Italian Motorcycle Federation will host all enthusiasts. We also note the presence of an Enduro Republic bivouac, as well as that of the Di Traverso School, Ciro De Petri and the Swank Rally of Sardinia.

Sportsmanship is then the protagonist in hall 6 with the presence of names such as Yamaha, Benelli, Ohvale, Motul and Primatex with the Virus Power brand. The racing panorama is represented by various brands of accessories, clothing (Arai, Dainese, GiMoto, Mosko Moto, Tucano Urbano, Vircos, Wheelup), special parts (Evotech, Liqui Moly, MSR Exhaust, Simoni Racing, Spider) and event organizers on circuit and off-road (Ag Motorsport, Cremona Circuit). Among the companies mentioned also Tamburini Corse, the performance motorcycle company founded by Andrea Tamburini, son of Massimo, the designer of the historic Bimota and MV F4.
Aspects such as security, the non-profit sector and shopping also concern the hall 7. In short, there are many prospects for two-wheel and special enthusiasts, also considering the presence of clubs, associations and organizers of riding events. Furthermore, as reported, important international guests are expected such as the thirty-time trials world champion Toni Bou who will perform on Saturday and Sunday in front of the Motor Bike Expo public in a session of jumps, evolutions and "tricks". inside the hall 8. Also expected at the event are the American artists Ray Drea (Head of the Harley-Davidson design department from 2012 to 2019) and Darren McKeag, the photographer Michael Lichter and the expert Franco Picco returning from the new challenge at the Dakar.
