Motor Bike Expo 2014 – The big brands of custom accessories

The world of custom is not just made up of artists and tuners who create unique motorbikes. In fact, a large part of the customizations also take place thanks to a wide range of choice of aftermarket accessories. As always, most of the companies producing custom accessories will be present at Motor Bike Expo.

Among the large American companies in this sector, one of the best known is Custom Chrome. Founded in the early seventies in California, once again for 2014 the European branch Custom Chrome Europe will organize a contest during the Motor Bike Expo in which the manufacturers of the most beautiful motorbikes will be rewarded with shopping vouchers. Also on Friday at 11 am at the pad. 2, stand 7J, will present the new Bolt-On and Ride motorcycles. It has now become a brand known throughout the world Arlen ness, the well-known American customizer who created many unique motorcycles. His catalog offers exclusive accessories for Harley-Davidson and Victory, but also clothing and merchandising items.

Moving on to the 100% European companies, the headquarters are still in Germany, in Würzburg W&W Cycles, a company with over 30 years of history, which has followed the motto of "we ride it, we sell it". Its catalog of over 1.000 pages has over 22.000 accessories, with a particular focus on those looking for a vintage piece for their vintage Harley or to customize one following the styles of the past.
However, it is Dutch Zodiac, which also has a long history and boasts a catalogue, now in its 39th edition, of approximately 1.600 pages and 30.000 products, all TÜV certified. The company's commitment also extends to the world of racing, in particular drag racing, with Zodiac Racing.

Also from the Netherlands Motorcycle Storehouse. Its catalogue, also available online, is divided into 23 sections, with an offer that in 2014 reaches over 48.000 products available within 24 hours of ordering, largely dedicated to Harley-Davidson motorcycles of every family and era. Another Dutch company is Highway Hawk, active since the Seventies with the production of accessories for Harley-Davidson and later for Japanese metric cruisers. The excellent quality-price ratio and the modern design of the products have contributed to the success of this company throughout the world.

However, it operates differently from other distributors M@G Connection, which bases its business on the web, operating as a link between the United States and Europe through online orders. Parts Europe is another young company, founded in 2010, based in Germany. It deals with distributing spare parts and accessories not only for custom motorcycles made in the USA, but also for Japanese ones, although its core business is represented more than anything else by the world of competitions. The company's motto is in fact “we support the sport”.

Among the Italian after market companies there is instead Rebuffini Cyclesof Casazza (BG). It was founded in 1987 thanks to the resourcefulness of Livio Rebuffini. In 1994 it specialized in the repair and transformation of Harley-Davidsons and in 2000 it began designing and building accessories. Gray Indian's Collection is another well-known Italian brand, focused on the production of refined and exclusive accessories for Harley-Davidson and Japanese custom motorcycles. The Cavezzo (MO) company has been active since 1996 and, although it builds with an artisanal spirit, it is equipped with all modern machinery that allows a complete working process from prototyping to finishing.
