Motor Bike Expo 2014 – The entire 2014 Yamaha range in Verona

From scooters to Iwata customs. There is also the new Super Ténéré.

Yamaha Motor Italy at the Motor Bike Expo Show 2014 will reveal all the new features of 2014 motorcycle and scooter ranges, including the revolutionary Concept Model Tricity, accompanied as per tradition by the participation of all the three tuning fork Official Clubs who will present the official calendars of their activities for 2014.
“New Mobility”, i.e. a new way of understanding urban mobility, thanks to highly technological multi-wheel scooters that reach previously unknown standards of control and ease of use. This is the context in which the house of the three tuning forks intends to insert Concept Model Tricity, the first 3-wheeler built by the Japanese company. Compared to other proposals, Tricity wants to stand out for its lightness, agility, small dimensions... and price.

Yamaha will bring the entire MT family to Verona, inspired by the "Dark Side of Japan": Yamaha MT-09 Street Rally, an even meaner version of Yamaha's gritty three-cylinder naked-motard MT-09 (also obviously present in Verona) which emphasizes its motard soul, but above all its brand newness Yamaha MT-07, 689cc twin-cylinder which definitively moves the bar in the entry-level segment in terms of driving sensations, components and design.

Of course there is no shortage of custom proposals linked to the Sport Classic segment and with them the entire universe of customizing closely connected to it. The new twin-cylinder bobbers are the protagonists in the "front row". Yamaha XV950 and Yamaha XV950R, two old style bikes that incorporate the character and personality of garage creatures with a neo-retro style, but with mechanics, performance and comfort made in Iwata. Also present is the legendary single-cylinder Yamaha SR400, a two-wheeled icon in a revisited version and this year even in its 35th year of life in the Yard Built version magnificently reinterpreted by Danish customizers Wrenchmonkees, with SR400 GibbonSlap.

The powerful four-cylinder needs no introduction Yamaha XJR1300 presented both in the standard version and with the eye-catching Project Deus Ex Machina Italy which will give anyone the opportunity to create a unique special, enriched by a rich series of accessories that can also be purchased individually and installed with extreme ease such as the handmade front mudguard, the complete EU approved SC-Projects exhaust, the custom Acewell rev counter, the support for the headlight, the Sprintfilter air filter, the entire Discacciati braking system which also includes billet calipers and double 298 mm front disc brake, and other components that can be assembled directly in the Deus Ex Machina workshop , such as the hand-shaped aluminum tank, the custom saddle, the license plate holder or the clip-on handlebars. For the Custom and Cruising segments, the new entry twin-cylinder models will be present XVS1300 Custom and XV1300A CFD.

The rich motorcycle range present at the fair will also include, among others, the new XT1200ZE Super Ténéré 2014, which had its world premiere in Canada just this month. Updates to the engine, chassis and instrumentation design, and also some aesthetic components, but above all now there are new fully electronically adjustable suspension.

Protagonists of the Motor Bike Expo Show 2014 will also be all the new scooters from the Three Diapason brand: starting from Xenter 125 and 150. Lovers of comfort will be able to admire the new ones X-MAX 125 and 250 my2014, derived from its big brother platform X MAX 400. The more sporty ones will be able to appreciate the latest limited edition deluxe version of the King of Yamaha TMAX maxi scooters, the new top of the range TMAX Bronze MAX and also the “shocking” off-road version Hyper Modified, called TCROSS, created by the expert hands of Italian customizers gathered under the aegis of the Italian newspaper Riders Italian Magazine.

The Scaligera event will also be an opportunity to present the new season of R125 Cup trophy, the single-brand store dedicated to all young people aged 14 to 23 with the desire to express their passion for two wheels by approaching the world of racing in a preparatory and safe way.
