Motogiro d'Italia 2011, the presentation at Ducati

Il Motogiro d'Italia like every year it recalls the history and tradition of Italian motorcycling. In a few days the twentieth edition will kick off, which a week ago, in the midst of a large crowd of enthusiasts, was presented at a press conference organized in the factory Ducati, in Borgo Panigale.

They spoke at the presentations Gabriel Del Torchio, Chairman of the Ducati Holding, Paolo Sesti, Chairman of the Italian Motorcycling Federation e Massimo Mansueti, Chairman of the Moto Club Terni.

From this year, said Del Torchio, Ducati, the historic brand of the Italian motorcycling tradition, will return to being the technical sponsor of the Motogiro d'Italia, after having contributed to popularizing the event more than half a century ago. Paolo Sesti also recognized the role of the Borgo Panigale company for all the prestige commitment of Made in Italy in the global motorcycle sector.

The program of Motogiro d'Italia 2011, as illustrated in the conference by Massimo Mansueti, foresees the departure from Bologna next Sunday, 29st May. The arrival is set for June 4th again in Bologna, after the motorcyclists have traveled the roads between Emilia Romagna and Veneto for a total of 1.300 km.
