Motodays 2016 – The 2016 edition of Motodays, scheduled from 3 to 6 March 2016 at Fiera Roma, will be full of new features, and in particular we learn that KTM will present four new models as a world premiere, the KTM 1290 Super Duke GT, the 1290 Super Duke R Special Edition, the 690 Duke and the 690 Duke in R version, as well as the renewed RC390.

With the 1290 Super Duke GT, arriving in March for 18.720 euros, KTM expands its range of road motorcycles with a product dedicated to sports tourism that has extensive standard equipment to be fast and safe: Motorcycle Stability Control, thanks to its inertial platform, combines the functions of C-ABS with those of Traction Control. The different riding modes, combined with the practicality of the quickshifter and the 173 HP of the LC8 twin-cylinder guarantee performance, while the 23-litre tank and the rear frame designed for side bags, prepare the bike for long journeys. The suspension is semi-active WP, the cruise control is standard, as are the heated grips, the windshield is adjustable and the LED lights have the cornering function.

The 1290 Super Duke R Special Edition, available from February at 18.720 euros, features an exclusive selection from the KTM Power Parts catalog: titanium Akrapovič exhaust, Wave brake discs, stiffer CNC-machined steering plates, adjustable handlebar levers, ideal saddle for sporty riding and dedicated graphics combined with the numerous orange and carbon anodized aluminum parts. The new Duke 690 has a 73 HP single-cylinder engine with Euro 4 approved balancing countershaft. It also has a new steering geometry and ABS as standard, while the aesthetics are similar to that of the previous version but with new graphics. Furthermore, a new completely digital TFT instrumentation makes its debut and the Track Pack with sport and rain riding modes, traction control and ABS Supermoto mode is available as an option. It will be available in November for 8.800 euros, while 10.380 will be needed for the Duke R which has 75 HP, Akrapovic exhaust, Brembo monobloc calipers, rearset footrests, single-seat shell seat, LED turn signals and fully adjustable WP suspension.
