Yamaha – Yamaha Motor Europe Italian branch will be officially present at the annual MotoDays motoring event, scheduled at Rome Fiere from Thursday 5th to Sunday 8th March 2015, displaying all the latest features of its motorbike and scooter ranges, on all the highly anticipated YZF-R1 super sports bikes and YZF-R1M.

They will be great protagonists of the Roman event the new Yamaha YZF-R1, with engine, chassis and electronics derived from Valentino Rossi's YZR-M1 MotoGP, e its 4-cylinder front crossplane with 998cc and 200HP. The new YZF-R1 is characterized by an aluminum Deltabox frame with a short wheelbase, while the magnesium subframe, rims and suspension ensure top performance on the track. The new fairing, with Race Blue and Race Red liveries, features LED headlights with a minimal look and a central air intake, while what distinguishes it is the electronics, transferred from the YZR-M1, to allow professional riders and not, to realize one's potential. There 6-axis IMU inertial platform ensures total control over traction, skidding, wheelies, braking and starts, to raise the bar of performance on the track.

It will also be there at Motordays 2015 the Special Edition Yamaha YZF-R1M, which adopts a lightweight carbon fairing with Silver Blue Carbon color and offers even superior equipment such as the Communication Control Unit (CCU) with GPS to allow teams to analyze lap times and other data on a tablet with Wi-Fi connection and Öhlins Electronic Racing Suspension (ERS). Furthermore, there will be no shortage of them the new Yamaha MT-09 Tracer action tourer, the latest addition to the MT family directly derived from the Yamaha MT-09 platform, from which it inherits the lightweight frame and the 115HP three-cylinder engine, but enriched with all the comforts suitable for long journeys: adjustable front fairing, handlebars and riding position, high capacity tank, ABS and traction control as standard.

Custom enthusiasts will find what they want thanks to the Yamaha's Sport Classic range present in Rome with new XJR1300 and XJR1300 Racer, the four-cylinder vehicles with air-cooled engines with the highest displacement, vehicles created for the future but inspired by the past. The public will also be able to see for themselves the same family the Yamaha SR400 and the XV950R bobber. On a special theme, there will be the Yamaha Yard Built, unique models created based on the Sport Classic Yamahas by the most famous customizers in the world. In Rome there will be: XJR Project Machina, the famous flat track rider Marco Belli, his historic official dealership MotoShop Parma, and the absolute protagonist of the Di Traverso Flat Track School.

Furthermore, there will be the scooters, where the absolute protagonist will be the new TMAX 530 which, together with the special edition IRON MAX, presents a series of important technical and stylistic innovations for 2015, and the competition “Yamaha Rewards You”, through which MotoDays visitors will also be able to win a nice Yamaha gadget by participating in the special Instant-Win prize competition using one of the iPads positioned inside the Yamaha stand.
