Moto Morini Seiemmezzo SCR and STR: a short story to describe two characters [VIDEO]

A narrative voice accompanies the images of the film proposed by Moto Morini, on YouTube, in which the specimens of Seiemmezzo SCR e Seiemmezzo STR. The first is a Scrambler (SCR) with which you can go beyond the asphalt; while the second, the Street (STR), is a naked characterized by a distinctive aesthetic.

Technical aspects

The motorcycles have a frame characterized by a steel structure supporting the aluminum swingarm. The adjustable suspension part includes Kayaba solutions, at the front a 43 mm Upside-Down with 120 mm wheel travel and at the rear a monoshock with the same travel. The tubeless rims are 18 and 17 inches respectively in the front and rear areas, and are distinguishable from an aesthetic and technical point of view. The STR version features a lightened version of the aluminum alloy wheels, while the SCR features a variant with a spoked structure.

The seat is placed 810 mm from the ground and, considering the profile of the tank, accommodates motorcyclists of all heights. The examples can also be distinguished by noting the arrangement of the handlebars, on the SCR there is a wide one and not too close to the torso, on the STR there is a more sporty set-up.
Both bikes also feature aspects characteristic of Moto Morini models, a Brembo braking system and Pirelli tyres.
The specimens are equipped with a649 cc in-line twin-cylinder power unit, according to standards Euro 5. The power reaches i 61 horses (44,5 kW) at 8.250 rpm, while the torque peaks at 54 Nm at 7.000 rpm. We also note the marketing of the 35 kW variant.

The versions

The colors combined with the Moto Morini Seiemmezzo STR are Fire red, Smokey Anthracite e Stralight White, While the Seiemmezzo SCR dresses the colors Blue storm, Navy Green e Night Black.
The models are equipped with full LED headlights with a design recognizable at first glance, as well as having instrumentation on a 5-inch TFT color screen, which can be managed via backlit handlebar controls. According to the indications, an integrated Bluetooth communication system allows the simultaneous management of a telephone and two earphone devices.

The versatility of the Moto Morini Seiemmezzo SCR is immediately underlined by the design with various connotative details such as the fairing and the high mudguard in the front area, then a gold-coloured fork and the leather-coloured saddle. The tank can accommodate 16 liters of fuel, like that of the Street version. The STR example is a naked bike with a sculpted and streamlined body, with a typical riding position and chassis dimensions that liven up its attitude.
