Moto Guzzi V9 Roamer and V9 Bobber: the new custom from Mandello del Lario has arrived [MEGA GALLERY]

The new engine also makes its debut

Moto Guzzi V9 Roamer and V9 Bobber – The Moto Guzzi range expands with the arrival of the V9, available in two versions, Roamer and Bobber. The new 9 cc Euro 850 twin-cylinder also makes its debut on the new V4, although maximum effort was concentrated on defining a design that enhanced the sculptural shapes of the new model made in Mandello.

Touching the surfaces of the new Moto Guzzi V9, you perceive the extensive use of noble materials such as steel and aluminium, while the plastic parts are reduced to the bare minimum. The teardrop fuel tank, made of metal on both V9s, with a capacity of 15 litres, is finished with a fine paintwork on which the Moto Guzzi logo is applied, protected by transparent varnish. The front and rear fenders are also made of metal. The side panels, the fuel cap and the brake and clutch levers are made of lightweight aluminium. The finishes of the welds of the new frame and the quality of the painting are very accurate, as are the details that characterize the new transverse 90° V-twin., not only in the castings, but also in its matt black color which enhances the Moto Guzzi brands milled on the aluminum head covers.

The new Moto Guzzi V9 Roamer takes up the legacy left by the Nevada 750, which remained in the range, with appropriate updates, for over twenty years. The Piaggio Group Style Center developed the design, also thanks to the input provided by the PADC (Piaggio Advanced Design Center), located in Pasadena, California. On-board comfort is guaranteed by a comfortable and relaxed riding position, yet active and suitable for exploiting the cycling qualities of the V9 Roamer. The long saddle with padding, embellished with the #moto Guzzi logo sewn with gray thread, has a height from the ground of just 785 mm and is combined with a raised chrome handlebar and correct positioning of the footrests. On the V9 the curb weight is 199 kg, while the reduced mass, combined with the chassis qualities of the V9 Roamer and the great torque at low rpm offered by the new 850 twin-cylinder, gives unique feeling, handling and driving emotions.

The declination of the Moto Guzzi V9 Bobber evokes concepts such as the essentiality of the shapes, the purity of the design and consequently a certain content of original sportiness, also underlined by the total matt black look. In line with this style, V9 Bobber abandons any chrome and bright paintwork to marry matte black details. The side panels and the fuel tank are therefore dark as night, with the only concession of some graphic references in yellow or matt red. The exhaust unit, the mirrors and both metal fenders are also painted in "dark matt". The rear one has been carefully shortened and reduced in size, as well as providing a very compact light cluster, contributing strongly to the creation of the minimal look of the V9 Bobber. The matt black wheel rims, both 16 inches, are finely decorated with the gray Moto Guzzi logo, and are fitted with tires with larger shoulders (front 130/90; rear 150/80). Even with this spectacular tyre, with a distinctive design, the motorbike maintains exceptional riding pleasure and handling qualities.

A new unit makes its debut on the Moto Guzzi V9 Roamer and V9 Bobber, built as always in the Mandello del Lario factory. It is an air and oil-cooled transverse 90° V-twin, developed with the explicit objective of maximizing torque and elasticity, fundamental aspects to ensure driving pleasure and fun on the road. you. The rich catalog of dedicated accessories includes the MG-MP, the Moto Guzzi multimedia platform that connects the smartphone to the vehicle, providing an exceptional amount of information useful for the journey. Furthermore, for the Moto Guzzi V9 Roamer and V9 Bobber the multimedia platform at the service of the rider is available as an optional. MG-MP is the innovative multimedia system capable of connecting the motorbike to the smartphone and consequently to the Internet. With this application, downloadable for free from the App Store and Google Play, the smartphone (iPhone or Android) becomes a truly sophisticated on-board computer multifunction and the connection link between the vehicle and the Internet.

Moto Guzzi V9 Roamer is available in three different color variants, all with a glossy finish: Solar Yellow with eye-catching black graphics on the mudguards and tank, Classic White with elegant red graphics on the mudguards and tank, Ruby Red with pearly white graphics on the tank and mudguards.
