Moto Guzzi V7 Stone: a new chapter, an evolution [VIDEO]

Design and technique

The new example features a redefined front light signature. A new headlight assembly a LED with light DRL which recalls an eagle with spread wings, the historic logo of the brand. Among the other distinctive aspects, the absence of progressive numbering in Roman characters also stands out, now with a synthetic "V7". Then three satin colors are listed: Rough Black, Ice Blue and Copper Orange.

The new features also include the side panels, a smaller rear mudguard and the exhaust system. The frame is evolved with steel components in the steering head area and a new pair of shock absorbers with greater travel. There are therefore new supports for the motorcyclist's footrests and a new double-height saddle is also highlighted. Finally, a new single-dial digital instrumentation, as well as the equally new sports aluminum wheels. According to the information, the rear tire is associated with a tire with an increased section of 150/70.

Motor

The new engine is derived from the one that powers the classic travel enduro V85 TT. We note a maximum power increased by 25% reaching i 65 horses at 6.800 rpm and the maximum torque has also increased, going from 60 Nm at 4.250 rpm to 73 Nm at 5.000 rpm, with over 80% of the torque already available at 3.000 rpm. A weakened version is also indicated for holders of an A2 driving licence.
