Moto Guzzi V7 Special: new model, new refined evolution [PHOTO]

The story of continues Moto Guzzi V7 with another chapter over 50 years after the first. A reshaped concept with a new heart, while the philosophy and character that animate this example remain unchanged. The new V7 special it is one of the versions available together with the renewed one V7 Stone.

Concept

Classic, clean lines, with refined details that recall tradition. The specimen V7 special it retains a double-dial analogue instrumentation which includes a speedometer and rev counter, then spoked wheels and can appear in the colors Formal Blue e Casual Grey. However, the Roman numeration disappears.

A motorbike with an evocative layout and a new heart of larger cubic capacity, highlighted by large exhaust pipes and a larger cardan joint transmission, as well as a pair of Kayaba shock absorbers and a larger section rear wheel. There are redefined side panels with a shortened rear mudguard.

Among the innovations to refine its functionality and overall comfort, an advanced frame stands out with steel elements in the steering head area, the aforementioned new pair of shock absorbers with greater excursion and a renewed double-height saddle, together with new supports for the motorcyclist's footrests, as indicated.

Motor

Figure on the new generation of Moto Guzzi V7 a new engine derived from the one that powers the V85 TT. The most recent unit shaped by the brand that transmits interesting performance and equally efficient operation.

Thrust increases by 25%, going from 52 horsepower at 6.200 rpm at altitude 65 horses at 6.800 rpm. Maximum torque is also higher, from the previous 60 Nm at 4.250 rpm to the current ones 73 Nm at 5.000 rpm, with over 80% of the torque already available at 3000 rpm.
A weakened version is also offered aimed at holders of an A2 license and the adjustable and disengageable MGCT traction control comes as standard, as indicated.
