In the video proposed by Moto Guzzi Official on YouTube, starring a version of the new one Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello, the qualities of the motorbike when traveling are underlined.

Passion for itineraries

Luca Balduino, Moto Guzzi Platform Manager, talks about the aspects of the model most linked to tourism.
The new Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello it already features various standard solutions including a full LED lighting system with DRL, various electronic systems, the distinctive adaptive aerodynamics and mechanically adjustable Kayaba suspensions. This is combined with the Polar White or Magma Red colors and the rims are covered in a golden and matt colour.
La Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello SFurthermore, it features equipment with high-level technological solutions including heated grips, Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 semi-active suspension, TPMS tire pressure indicator, a Moto Guzzi MIA connectivity system and a quick shift system. The liveries in this case are Verde 2121 and Grigio Avanguardia, both with wheels painted in matt black.
There is also a varied range of accessories with functional transport solutions for those who love to travel or other options to enhance the comfort and features of the motorbike.
In addition to the variants already mentioned, there is also exclusivity Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello Naval Aviation made in a limited and numbered series of 1913 units with a dedicated livery and a laser engraving of the serial number on the handlebar riser.

Technical and technological aspects

The LED front light cluster is enriched by a DRL motif which features the eagle symbol in a stylized form, while that of the rear light clusters recalls the afterburners of aeronautical engines. At the front there are also "bending lights", a pair of additional headlights in the reflectors which illuminate the inside of the curve to support visibility when leaning. The solutions also include five-inch color TFT instruments, a USB socket in the storage compartment under the passenger seat and a cruise control system.
One of the highlighted technological features stands out:adaptive aerodynamics, a sophisticated solution that facilitates comfort and protection.
The windshield can be operated electrically and the open deflectors reduce air pressure by 22%, according to information. A result that is the result of hundreds of hours of work between simulations with CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) calculation software and sessions in the wind tunnel, as well as fine-tuning on the road.
The opening threshold of the side deflectors can also be adjusted to a speed other than the set 70 km/h, within a range between 30 and 95 km/h. Automatic closing occurs when the speed drops 20 km/h below the opening threshold, avoiding continuous opening and closing in traffic, for example.
The protection from the air is completed by the electrically adjustable fairing, which can be raised via a convenient button on the left electrical block with a maximum range of 90 millimetres. Operation is independent of the four Riding Modes, to give the motorcyclist the opportunity to manage it based on their height and needs. The Riding Modes are: Touring, Rain, Road and Sport. For each there is management of three different engine maps, two levels of engine braking, four levels of traction control, the opening of the side deflectors and, speaking of the Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello S, also the calibration of the semi-active Öhlins Smart EC suspension 2.0.
The electronic equipment also includes a Marelli 11MP control unit, a six-axis inertial platform that allows you to make the most of the Cornering ABS developed in collaboration with Continental and a Ride by wire electronic accelerator.

Thruster

The new engine “compact blocks” di 1.042 cc it is a transverse 90° V-twin with heads rotated 90 degrees, four valves per cylinder and double overhead camshaft distribution with finger rockers controlled by a chain. It features a liquid cooling system.
The cardan shaft final transmission rests on an aluminum single-arm, now located on the left side, and the propulsion heart is associated with a six-speed gearbox with patented technology of the first two gears with reduced clearance, already used on the V85 TT.
The power reaches i 115 horses at 8.700 rpm and torque 105 Nm at 6.750 rpm, 82% already available from 3.500 rpm.
