Moto Guzzi protagonist at the Mostra Scambio at the Novegro Exhibition Park

Come back on time like every year, at Novegro Exhibition Park, Show Exchange of vintage cars, motorbikes and cycles scheduled from 9 to 11 November 2018 and which will have as its main attraction a very rich area dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the twin cylinders Moto Guzzi. The exhibition, which will be joined by clubs, historical registers and collectors, is sponsored by the Lombardy Region.

Moto Guzzi will be the great protagonist of the next Novegro Exhibition. To best welcome the Mandello del Lario company, the central pavilion will be set up which will be entirely dedicated to the fifty years of the eagle's twin-cylinder machines and which will contain the most famous models of the V7 series, from 700 cc upwards. To tell the truth, the homage to the twin-cylinder machines from Mandello del Lario takes place a year later than the exact anniversary (the first V7 was in fact marketed in 1967), but it doesn't matter: the one in Novegro will be a unique opportunity to admire them all together with the powerful twin-cylinder machines that have made the history of Moto Guzzi even greater from the end of the Sixties up to the present day. The genesis of the V7 is something fantastic, it marks a fundamental chapter in the history of motorcycling and represents a decisive turning point for Moto Guzzi. 50 years have passed since the first V7s entered dealerships and perhaps no one at the time could have imagined that that motorbike with the transverse V-cylinders could give life to many subsequent models, becoming an emblem in the world, as important as the boxer of the BMW or the longitudinal V of Harley-Davidson. Since then the V-twin has never been abandoned by the men of Mandello, it has become the "trademark" and has been mounted on an infinite number of highly successful models, appreciated everywhere and capable of ensuring loyalty and love towards the Moto Guzzi. A versatile and robust engine, which has equipped grand tourers as well as sports cars, naked cars and customs. An anniversary within an anniversary is given by the fact that at the end of 2007 the V7 was reborn, not as a replica, but as a new motorcycle, faithful to tradition, but capable of looking to the future. A model which, after 10 years and many successful fittings and developments, proudly bears the ancient acronym and it is no coincidence that it has become the best-selling Moto Guzzi in recent times.
