A legendary story

The book was introduced in Milan “Moto Guzzi 100 Years”, a work published by Rizzoli Illustrati starring the eagle brand, in the year in which the centenary is remembered.

The text

A stylistically elegant volume that recalls the century of history of the brand thanks to the contributions of ten international figures fond of Moto Guzzi. A volume illustrated with unpublished images, in which ten authors narrate their passion for motorbikes.
The stories of the writer Melissa Holbrook Pierson, the actor Ewan McGregor, the architect Greg Lynn, the journalists Marco Masetti, Mat Oxley, and Akira Nishimura, DJ Ringo, the designer Tom Dixon, the astronaut Paolo Nespoli and Jeffrey Schnapp, Harvard professor who also edited the volume. A contribution from authoritative figures who enrich the memory of the brand in its centenary year.

An Italian history projected forward but always linked to its past, they consider various examples, innovations, sporting successes and adventurous undertakings. In the history of Moto Guzzi there are 14 world titles and speed records. The Eagle vehicles have been used by the Police Force, by the Army, also equipping the Californian Police and, more recently, also that of Berlin and several European cities; as well as always being the motorbike of the Cuirassiers, the body that escorts the President of the Italian Republic.
The current range has been entirely evolved, features technological solutions and other projects are on the horizon.
This testimony underlines the international fame of Moto Guzzi. A brand that has continued to be present on the roads of the world since 1921, starting from the Mandello del Lario factory. A distinctive and recognized authenticity. The 100-page Moto Guzzi 224 Anni volume is available in bookstores at the cover price of 80 euros, as indicated.
