A grandfather and four grandchildren talk about their passion for Moto Guzzi, in a new episode of Moto Guzzi Portraits proposed by Moto Guzzi Official on Youtube.

A story of generations

A workshop open since 1980 and a common interest in the historic brand present in Mandello del Lario. A passion also linked to restoration, a pulsating activity as noted in the video. The interest in Moto Guzzi is also underlined by the 20 units owned, among which the models Sport 1100 and the most historic P dating back to 1934.
Also speaking about one of the most beautiful restored Moto Guzzi examples, Giampiero Gianola recalls a California 850 model from a German owner.
The grandchildren also became fond of the Moto Guzzi brand, who began to help their grandfather in the workshop, simultaneously becoming new young motorcyclists riding historic Moto Guzzi models. Both models appear in the video Dingo, But also a Trotter. Historic motorcycles that seem unaffected by time, in the hands of these very young people. Among them there are also those who dream of one day, at a more mature age, getting on the new saddle Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello.

The brand's most recent creation, introduced in the centenary year, is a motorbike characterized by aesthetic features that recall the brand's tradition and innovative technological solutions. Among these we highlight: adaptive aerodynamics, a Marelli 11MP control unit, a six-axis inertial platform and a cornering ABS system.
The adaptive aerodynamics system automatically takes care of the position of the deflectors located on the sides of the tank, taking into account the speed and the Riding Mode selected from the different Travel, Sport, Rain and Road modes. For each, three engine maps are indicated, three levels of engine braking, four levels of traction control and, if included, the calibration of the semi-active Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 suspension which can automatically manage the hydraulics, evaluating the type of driving and the conditions of the road surface.
The appendages raised to the maximum attenuate the pressure from the air to the rider by 22%, according to the indications, bringing the specimen closer to the levels of protection offered by tourer specimens, also considering the protection guaranteed by the electrically height-adjustable windshield.
The engine is a twin cylinder “compact block” with architecture a Transversal V of 90° da 1.042 cc. We note a power of over 115 horsepower and a torque of over 105 Nm, 90% available from 3.500 rpm with a limiter at 9.500 rpm.
