Moto Guzzi Open House: record turnout
30.000 enthusiasts invaded the historic Mandello del Lario factory
The love for Italian motorbikes led to the record turnout recorded at the 2018 edition of the Moto Guzzi Open House: over 30.000 came from all over the globe to the Moto Guzzi factory in Mandello del Lario to celebrate the historic company founded in 1921.
Almost one hundred years after its birth, Moto Guzzi is experiencing a new youth, increasingly catalyzing the interest and appreciation of different generations who recognize its authenticity, character and great competence.
Like the new Moto Guzzi V85 TT, exhibited for the first time in its definitive guise, whose success is demonstrated by the over one thousand bookings collected for the test rides, for which the possibility of pre-registering also online on the Moto Guzzi website remains open .
Also very popular was the V9 Bobber Sport, a meaner and more refined version of the Mandello custom, enriched with numerous finely crafted details, which will be on sale from the end of October.
The 2018 edition of Open House was the richest in activities dedicated exclusively to the public: visits to the production lines, to the Moto Guzzi Museum, up to the Moto Guzzi Village where music alternated with moments of entertainment, such as the talk show in which those responsible for the V85 TT project explained the details of its genesis.
The most popular music, however, was that of the V-twins from the fleet of fifty motorcycles made available, for a total of over 800 test rides carried out.
The protagonist was the V7 III Limited, the latest special version of the Mandello "settemezzo".
The sense of belonging that the large Moto Guzzi family can create is demonstrated by the official community The Clan, which has exceeded the threshold of 30.000 members.
