Moto Guzzi: there is talk online of a new V100 with a new engine

In the last few hours the attention of various specialized newspapers has focused on another possible new agreement Moto Guzzi in the centenary year. More than a novelty, considering what emerges online, hypothesizing a debut for this potential protagonist at the next edition of EICMA.

A new model on the horizon

Some photos have appeared, taken from a distance and in an open place, during a possible photo session. Images that suddenly fueled the hypotheses. Perhaps the introduction of the mysterious model was scheduled for the Moto Guzzi World Days, scheduled from 6 to 12 September 2021 in Mandello del Lario but then cancelled. We can then hypothesize a presentation at the next edition of EICMA, Scheduled 23 al 28th November at the pavilions of Fiera Milano in Rho, however at the moment there are no precise indications on the model and its introduction.
The name of the bike could be V100 or V100 Sport Tourer, going back to the hypotheses, waiting for more information and it would appear to be a massive and sinuous crossover.
There is talk of another interesting novelty, a new engine linked to this model and perhaps not only to this one. A new engine and not a simple evolution, according to rumors. It would always be a V-twin arranged, as per tradition, with an angle of 90° and a displacement it could slightly exceed 1.000 cc. The cooling would be liquid with double camshaft type distribution driven by a mechanism consisting of chain and gears and four valves per cylinder. A boost that could reach around 110 or 120 horsepower is hypothesized.
