Moto Guzzi Fast Endurance: the first single-make championship of the eagle
The championship will be divided into five 60-minute races with crews made up of two drivers
Moto Guzzi returns to competitions and does so for a truly special occasion. In fact, 2019 will be the debut year of the trophy Moto Guzzi Fast Endurance, a new single-brand championship, organized together with IMF (Italian Motorcycling Federation) for all those eager to tackle the track but driving not Japanese super sports cars but classics with timeless charm.
Moto Guzzi Fast Endurance: the championship
The championship will be divided into five "fast endurance" races lasting 60 minutes which will see the various crews made up of two riders riding Moto Guzzi V7 III Stone, set up with a kit, supplied by the company, the same for all participants to ensure maximum balance. The choice to compete with a V7 III is in itself a declaration of intent for an event on the way of understanding racing: competition yes, but also passion and a spirit of fun to experience weekends full of events and collateral activities. Moto Guzzi Fast Endurance wants to bring together more experienced riders, but also the younger ones who, perhaps, are preparing to tackle the track for the first time with the hands of the stopwatch turning and their opponents ready to take turns.
To give an extra touch of charm to Fast Endurance is the formula of the Le Mans start, with the bikes lined up on one side of the track and the riders who, at the moment of the start, run across the asphalt strip to get into saddle. Halfway through the race, however, a driver change is scheduled. Moto Guzzi Fast Endurance is open to all riders in possession of a speed license issued by the FMI.
