Moto Guzzi Fast Endurance European Cup: the 2021 trophy goes to Team Pablo

The standard bearers of Team Pablo, Paolo Rovelli and Francesco Curinga, have conquered the Moto Guzzi Fast Endurance European Cup 2021. At the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli took place the last act of another season riding the specimens of Moto Guzzi V7III, endowed of GCorse Racing Kit and tires Pirelli Phantom Sportscomp RS.

The final appointment

In the final stage of the third edition of the single-brand event, over 30 crews, Moto Guzzi enthusiasts and competitions competed.
In the appointment from 90 minutes the young Bryan D'Onofrio and Matteo Minganti of the Autotech.it team were the protagonists on the Misano Adriatico track. This team also took pole position and Bryan D'Onofrio set the fastest lap of the race with a time of 1'59”226, at an average speed of 127,603 km/h. They prevailed after managing the comparison with the VMS Benty 2 team made up of Stefano Nari and Marco Leardini when the rain further livened up the race, reacting and regaining the lead during the last driver change to maintain it until the checkered flag. The VMS Benty 2 team took second place in the race and also second place in the championship. Third place of the day for the Moto Club dei Rapaci team made up of Luca Fornasiero and Mauro Rossignoli, on the podium in the final stages after the crash on the last lap of the "sister" team Moto Club dei Rapaci 2 made up of Pierluigi Begossi and Marco Mirenda.

Team Pablo's seasonal triumph came thanks to a fifth place and consistent performance throughout the season, given the six top six placings in the "mini endurance" contested, including the victory in Vallelunga and two second places in Varano and Magione. The Pablo team was already leading the standings before the Misano race and fifth place allowed them to confirm their lead. Also noteworthy is an error by the Altinier Motorsport & Biker's Island team made up of Emiliano Bellucci and Tommaso Totti. This team, a direct rival in the standings, finished fourteenth in the race after a slip.
