Moto Guzzi: the centenary of the brand and a special celebratory livery [PHOTO]

Moto Guzzi remember in 2021 il centennial and among the initiatives the GMG – Moto Guzzi World Days provided for a Mandello del Lario from 9 to 12 September. One was also revealed Centenary livery in a limited series, proposed only during this year.

A story lived with spread wings

La “Moto Guzzi Anonymous Company” was established on 15 March 1921 with subject: “The manufacture and sale of motorcycles and any other activity pertaining or connected to the metalworking industry”. In Mandello del Lario, an enterprise linked to the history of world motorcycling took shape. 2021 is a special year for Moto Guzzi and its GMG – Moto Guzzi World Days they are one of the important events for fans of the brand, returning ten years after the last edition. The arrival of fans from different parts of the world is expected, thanks to the collaboration between Moto Guzzi, the International Motorcycle Rally Committee and the municipality of Mandello del Lario. The Moto Guzzi World Days are scheduled in Mandello del Lario from 9 to 12 September, as reported.

The special Centenary Livery

Also shown one limited series of the models V7, V9 e V85 TT with a special Centenary Livery, only during the year. A dress that recalls the legendary Eight Cylinders from 1955, a visionary example for the period and developed to compete in the World Championship in the 500 class.

The combination of colors conveys elegance, aesthetic research and at the same time a marked sporting determination. The shades of the satin metal of the tank and the green of the fairing stand out, as well as the leather of the saddle. Colors that also bring to mind the historic and winning 350 Biappello, seen in action in the 350 class of the MotoGP, obtaining 9 consecutive world titles from 1953 to 1957, specifically five Riders' and four Manufacturers' Titles. The distinctive aspects also include the eagle in a golden finish and the dedicated anniversary logo.

The green color was also the first seen on the historic and iconic Normale. The Style Center has taken up the shade, reinterpreting it in a modern key with a matt finish, also linked to the metallic tones which conveys an idea of ​​"solidity" and "authenticity", as highlighted. The body colors are associated with a saddle defined with a natural colored material.
