Moto Guzzi: the centenary celebrated by the ACI Storico Club [PHOTO]

Il Historic ACI Club e Moto Guzzi they commemorate the centenary of the well-known motorcycle brand. A historical reality founded in 1921.

The centenary

Anniversary celebration events will culminate by 6 12 to September a Mandello del Lario with a special edition of GMG – Moto Guzzi World Days. Over the course of one hundred years, the brand has been a protagonist on the most prestigious circuits in the world, obtaining 14 world championship titles in the MotoGP, as well as in the production of interesting two-wheeled models. It has developed models capable of extreme challenges and still today creates models designed for travelers from every corner of the world. The models are built in the historic Mandello del Lario plant, combining experience and innovation with a unique and advanced twin-cylinder. The renewed ones are an example of this V7, V9 and the classic enduro V85 TT, also in Travel version.

The initiative

Historical ACI dedicates to the anniversary of Moto Guzzi an event in several stages, allowing you to learn about this history in different locations and through prestigious examples linked to Italian industrial and social evolution.
The first exhibition event is scheduled for Milano from 15 April to 13 May, at the ACI headquarters in Corso Venezia. An exhibition is planned featuring models from different eras. Examples of construction technique and technological and aesthetic innovation.
It ranges from Sport 500 from the 20s to Sport 15 from the 30s; from the famous Guzzino of the 40s to the different Falcone o Cockerel 192 culminating in the 60s. But there are also examples of V7 Sports (70's), V50, Daytona 1000 need Gray e MGX-21 considering the most recent period. Also visible is a version of V7 with unity 850.
Other stages are planned, some still being confirmed: Portofino from 7 to 9 May in the context of the Milan-Sanremo; Trieste for the Concorso di Eleganza in Piazza Unità d'Italia from 15 to 16 May; Pontedera between May 18th and June 21st; Roma on the occasion of the Concorso di Eleganza, Reb Concours, Golf Club Acqua Santa, from 22nd to 24th June, as well as other events in the capital including one at the Vallelunga racetrack on 11th and 12th September; therefore in conclusion a Padova from October 21st to 24th, as reported.
