Moto Guzzi California Touring 1400: the new special editions arrive for the Corazzieri [PHOTO]

Moto Guzzi California Touring 1400 – The President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella received the top management of the Piaggio Group at the Quirinale. The delegation was composed of the Vice President Matteo Colaninno, the Board Member Michele Colaninno, CEO and General Director of the Immsi holding, Maurizio Carletti, head of the Italian Market and Leo Mercanti, head of Product Marketing of the Group.

On this occasion, the leaders of the Piaggio Group presented to the Head of State the twenty Moto Guzzi California Touring 1400s intended to be used by the Cuirassier Regiment, the Honor and Security Guard of the President of the Italian Republic. The new California Touring 1400s were produced, in the special versions for the Corazzieri, in the Mandello del Lario headquarters where Moto Guzzi, part of the Piaggio Group led by Roberto Colaninno since 2004, was founded in 1921.

The California 1400s presented today to the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella continue the long tradition which sees Mandello's motorbikes used by the Cuirassiers. The Barracks of the “Major Alessandro Negri di Sanfront” Cuirassier Regiment exhibits, in the Vintage Motorcycle Show, numerous historic Moto Guzzis which over the years have been used in escort services to the Head of State.
