THEpublic notice for companies that express their interest in carrying out sharing services regarding "scooters, segways, hoverboards, skateboards and single wheels" it is expected by September, as reported on August 23th, 2019 twigs City of Milan through your own place.

In the communication reference is made to “minimum standards” for the activity. Among those who the City of Milan intends to include, taking up what is reported in the released press release, also: “a service active 7 days a week, 7 hours a day and throughout the territory, the activation of insurance for vehicles in circulation, registration in the business register, not having open disputes with the Administration and having carried out all the obligations necessary to carry out the activity on Italian territory." Among the aspects also “an adequate information campaign” focused on the topic of road safety and the rules regarding the use and parking of vehicles, as highlighted. The use, including owned devices, is authentic to the “indications of the Ministerial Decree and the related resolution of the Municipality of Milan of 26 July”. That is, they can be used in pedestrian areas while maintaining a speed limit of 6 km/h and also on the slopes and routes cycle paths e pedestrian and cycle paths as well as in the 30 Zone, in this case with a speed limit of 20 kilometers per hour, “starting from the end of the installation of the necessary signs”, which would happen by the beginning of the month of December, as suggested.
On this occasion the councilor for Transports, Marco Granelli, has informed the interested operators of the minimum requirements indicated in the public notice “which will remain open with monthly evaluations of the proposals presented”, always reporting what is indicated. Reference is made to: “CE marking for vehicles, sound equipment, lights and speed limiters; fleets with minimum and maximum numbers, until a ceiling of devices in the city is reached; deposit for each vehicle (bank or insurance guarantee with a duration equivalent to the period of service), as a guarantee in the event of intervention by the Municipality of Milan for removal during or at the end of the service; annual payment of a contribution to the Municipality of Milan to cover the occupation of public land.” Precisely in view of a public notice and dedicated guidelines, last August 14th the removal of shared electric scooters operating in the Lombardy metropolis had been requested.
