From what emerges in the press release released by Confindustria ANCMA (National Association of Motorcycle Cycle Accessories), regarding the half-yearly performance of the two-wheeled electric vehicle market, in the first half of 2022 an increase of 82,2% was recorded over the same period of the year, with a low incidence of specimens of this type on the total market at 5,3%. Compared with 2021, 3.463 were registered mopeds, corresponding to an increase of 77,4%, therefore 5.315 scooter up 93,4% and 393 motorcycle up by 18%.

The market for e-bikes and electric quadricycles

The trend remains substantially stable moving on to the market of e-bike, ANCMA estimates describe this progress in the first six months of the year. After the record values ​​of 2020 and the further increase of 5% with over 295 thousand pieces released in 2021, we continue without significant growth compared to previous years.
Considering the support of purchasing incentives, it is the segments most used to move around the city that are driving a market which is performing well, given the positive numbers also under the heading electric quadricycles, the four-wheeled examples of the "L" category similar to motorcycles, in light of the 3301 vehicles sold, corresponding to a record growth of 157,8%. Also highlighted is the weight of Made in Italy companies with an overall market share of 31,3%, as indicated.
