The Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli obtains ISO 20121 recognition

Among the qualities of Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli now the important recognition is also present ISO 20121., relating to standards for Sustainable Event Management System Certification.

Sustainability represents an important factor in the strategy of the Romagna plant. In the interaction with stakeholders and in the valorization of the territory in which it operates, the choice of policies that consider, together with the economic aspects, also the social and environmental ones appears. Another fundamental ingredient is the valorization of human capital, keeping in mind the protection of the health and safety of those present and working in the plant.
Specifically, innovative sustainable and more competitive services are proposed, allowing access and use of services, the environment and structures, as well as promoting a culture of sustainability among stakeholders and internal staff.

La ISO 20121 certification is based on methodology “Plan-Do-Check-Act” which proposes a systematic framework for the integration of sustainable management activities, in order to reduce the impact linked to economic, environmental and social factors, as mentioned.
The certification was issued by TÜV Italy, branch of TÜV SÜD group, a world-class certification body with 24 employees, branches in 60 countries and headquarters in Munich. This recognition represents a fundamental international approach to the ISO 20121 standard for the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, the only sports track accredited by TÜV SÜD in Italy.
