The works were carried out by the Arletti company of Modena, with materials supplied by Frantoio Fondovalle of Bologna and checks carried out by the Geothema laboratory of Venice.
The selection of materials took place through seven "test fields", i.e. paved areas of approximately 200 mXNUMX which follow functional track points for checks including adhesion measurements, determining the composition of the mixture in terms of performance and execution method, as reported . Tests on materials are rather demanding also on durability. Following the indications, the stone aggregates were acquired in Sicily, brought by sea to Ravenna and then by land to the factories in Bologna for processing. Artificial aggregates, deriving from steel processing, were also used in a circuit for the first time.

Passion and speed

They traced the asphalt Enea Bastianini, Luca Bernardi, Niccolo Bulega, Alexander Del Bianco, Matteo Ferrari, Lorenzo Gabellini, Giacomo Mora, Andrea Natali, Mattia Pasini, Michele Pirro, Massimo Roccoli, Lorenzo Savadori e Luca Vitali, taking up the widespread list.
The number of companions has been limited, with the adoption of various protective devices and hand cleaning solutions, respecting the measures to combat the spread of the Coronavirus COVID-19; but at the same time relishing the emotion of returning to the asphalt of Romagna. Sensations highlighted by those present, listening again and perceiving again the smells and tension that characterize any track, waiting to start again.
