Misano Classic Weekend: the historic passion for motorcycling on the track

Il Misano Classic Weekend it is an event in which the bond between motorbikes, riders and enthusiasts is the protagonist. Scheduled in 8 e 10 October 2021.

History and engines

The event Misano Classic Weekend, hosted by Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, is made by MWC in partnership with the Italian Motorcycling Federation.
They will compete on the asphalt of the track over 400 pilots grouped in different starting grids, throughout the day on Sunday. They are noted 17 classes deployed during 9 starts and the first departure is scheduled at 10:20 am, while the last departure is scheduled at 18:00 pm. There are 12 classes with a ranking that is still uncertain and the title could be awarded on this asphalt.
Also highlighted in Misano was the final test of the Moto Guzzi Fast Endurance European Cup, a 90 minute “miniendurance” with the obligatory driver change every 15 minutes. Thirty-one crews registered for the test.

Among other events also the IMF meeting with 283 participants. This is the fourth and final round valid for the 2021 Italian Speed ​​Vintage Championship, after the rounds in Varano, Magione and Vallelunga.
There are also thirty-one crews involved in the Vintage Endurance, a 4-hour competition scheduled from 18pm on Saturday. This is the conclusive proof of European Vintage Endurance Championship and is the only event of the Italian Vintage Endurance Championship.
After each race, together with the classic awards ceremony, the Cup will also be awarded to the top three in the final rankings of the Italian Championship in each category.
As for the 2020 edition, only professionals will be allowed in the paddock. The public who purchased tickets will be able to watch from the stands, in compliance with current anti-contagion regulations.
