The world Michelin is made up of a series of services and products linked to the passion for travel. Among the new features, Michelin introduces four products for those who love using cars, motorbikes or bicycles, always looking for new experiences. Speaking specifically about two wheels, the new motorcycle tires stand out Michelin Road 6 and for racing bikes Michelin Power Cup.

The new products

For cycling enthusiasts looking for performance, Michelin Power Cup it is the tire designed for racing bicycles. A novelty to respond to the requests of runners and amateurs looking for greater grip when cornering, smoothness and speed.

Together with the new tyre Michelin Pilot Sport 5 for high-performance sedans and sports cars, the new one is also introduced Michelin Road 6 designed for motorbike enthusiasts who travel for a long time, navigating the most diverse curves and panoramas and who are not afraid of the weather. Different types of motorcycles can be equipped, ranging from naked to touring models, including road enduros.

Another interesting novelty also concerns theMichelin Guide app, from this year restaurants can be included in the App and on the official website of the Michelin Guide Italy, based on the completion of the table tests and the selection. Any entry into the Michelin digital platforms highlights the presence of the restaurant in the next edition of the paper guide, while stars, green stars and Bib Gourmand will always be assigned during the presentation ceremony.

Another concept considered is the sustainability, not limited to the tire sector alone, but which also includes industrial processes.
Over the past year, Michelin has introduced its defined 2050 strategy “All Sustainable”, which aims to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050. A first goal for the Michelin Group is set for 2030, with results linked to industrial processes and the finished product:

– reduce CO50 emissions from its factories by 2% compared to 2010;

– increase the content of sustainable raw materials in all its products to 40%, to reach 100% by 2050.

Just as another important aspect is constituted by the soles brand Michelin which cover various sectors, from outdoor sports to running, from work to safety, up to lifestyle. The collaboration was born with its licensee JV International which, through its technical skills, develops tailor-made technical soles together with Michelin engineers. Ad hoc institutes for each brand, based on their needs, inspired by the design of Michelin tires for two- and four-wheeled models.
And returning to the idea of travel integrated with the solutions proposed by Michelin, we also highlight the possibility of researching and enjoying stays through the selection proposed by the TabletHotels.com portal, discovering the best culinary establishments chosen by the inspectors of the Michelin Guide, up to the technologies developed for walking, using Michelin technical soles.
