Michele Colaninno appointed president of ACEM, Magri (ANCMA): "An appointment of importance"

Paolo Magri, president Confindustria ANCMA (National Association of Motorcycle Cycle Accessories), underlined the appointment of the Chief Executive of global strategy, product, marketing and innovation of the Piaggio Group Michele Colaninno as president of theACEM (Association des Constructeurs Européens de Motocycles), the European association of the motorcycle industry present in Brussels and in which several global groups connected to the motorcycle and scooter sector participate.

Michele Colaninno, born in 1976, together with his roles in the Piaggio Group, is CEO and General Manager of the Immsi Group, an industrial holding company listed on the Milan Stock Exchange (IMS.MI), active in the financial, real estate and industrial sectors, with a turnover of over 1,7 billion euros.
The appointment of Michele Colaninno as president of ACEM coincides with the reorganization of the Association's structure, with the definition of the three Vice Presidents: Stefan Pierer (CEO of KTM AG), Markus Schramm (Head of BMW Motorrad) and Eric de Seynes (President of Yamaha Motor Europe NV).

As broadcast in a daily note, Magri stated: “An important appointment which represents an important return to the European top of the reference associations for the Made in Italy industry and which comes at a time full of significant challenges for the mobility industry. Also in light of the renewed protagonism that two wheels have assumed on the market, ANCMA will not fail to make its active contribution and will continue to support ACEM's activity and the action of the new president, committing itself to reaffirming the economic, social and cultural role of the sector, the interests of manufacturers and users.
