Metzeler MCE 6 Days Extreme: a new Extra Soft specification for extreme enduro races

Within the tire range Metzeler MCE 6 Days Extreme, a new one has been introduced Extra Soft rear specification designed for extreme enduro competitions.

The quality characteristics

The tire proposal MCE 6 Days Extreme includes several specifications designed for various applications in enduro racing. There are different sizes of the front tire, offered in three versions: standard, soft and super soft. Nine sizes for the rear one among five variants, ranging between standard, medium, soft, super soft, as well as the new extra soft.

Although it was defined for the riders of the Enduro and Extreme Enduro World Championships, the MCE 6 Days Extreme proposal is also suitable for amateurs who are looking for high performance tires and support traction and versatility, counting on robust blocks.
The Extra Soft specification completes the overview for enduro competitions. These are tires developed with riders and teams from the FIM Enduro and FIM Hard Enduro World Championships.

La MCE 6 Days Extreme Extra Soft rear, in measurement 140/80–18 70M NHS, is a specialized proposal for competitions and daily special tests. It is characterized by a tread compound developed to support the best performance in extreme technical and environmental conditions, even at low temperatures. Given the high level of grip, according to information, the Extra Soft allows you to tackle even the most challenging obstacles and to start off again with agility from a standstill, when you don't have space to run up. The homogeneous deformation of the casing transmits comfort and facilitates its use even by less experienced enthusiasts.

The Extra Soft specification is distinguishable from the rest of the range, given the three parallel white stripes on the tread. Also distinctive is the new location of the blocks to optimize performance, even at steep lean angles. Superior resistance and less wear are also highlighted. The 100% Carbon Black-based compound is also new and resilient, capable of absorbing the energy of deformation, as indicated.
