Metzeler: four new tires indicated [PHOTO]

The new ROADTEC™ Scooter, ROADTEC™ 01 SE, SPORTEC ™ M9 RR e RACETEC ™ TD Slick these are the recent innovations that strengthen the signed proposal Metzeler.

ROADTEC™ Scooter

Starting from the new tire intended for scooters, with sizes ranging from 10 a 16 inches, it is versatile based on types of asphalt and temperatures. It has more rounded profiles, widening the contact surface, therefore a more rigid structure depending on the use. The compounds include a high percentage of silica, favoring use on wet surfaces and rear dual-compound radials, as reported.
This tire appears to be an optimization applied to the already known scooters ROADTEC™ 01, with a tread pattern made up of sipes and derived from this. 51 measures are envisaged, progressively appearing in place of FEELFREE™, FEELFREE™ WINTEC e ME 7 TEEN™. Compared to these, there is a higher level of grip on wet surfaces and with a low friction coefficient, as well as better support in handling and use.

ROADTEC™ 01 SE

A radial range linked to the ROADTEC™ 01 with more pronounced sporting qualities, therefore agility and grip, to the advantage of overall dynamism. The tread pattern changes, making it slicker on the shoulder. Choice that supports thrust thanks to a greater area in contact with the ground.
The front tires are characterized by the advanced full-silica compound of ROADTEC™ 01 and a central design, which allows for high grip on surfaces in addition to the aforementioned slicker shoulders, which, as mentioned, favor performance when leaning.
The rear ones are dual-compound, always following the indications. Fruit of “a sportier evolution of the ROADTEC™ 01 tread design”, as in the case of the fronts, favoring thrust when leaning, optimizing dynamism on mixed sections.

SPORTEC ™ M9 RR

A new road product aimed at sports motorcyclists, with qualities further refined compared to the already known one SPORTEC ™ M7 RR, with which it is related. The acronym RR underline the wording “Road Racing”, referring to the legendary TT on the Isle of Man, therefore suggesting a synergy between road and performance qualities.
Versatility but also sporting experience, therefore, considering the SPORTEC™ M7 RR itself. A product designed and developed to communicate with the systems of different models and proposed in three different front sizes and nine rear ones. A tyre, in short, aimed at those who own naked and sports bikes and who use them constantly, appreciating a certain dynamism.

RACETEC ™ TD Slick

A novelty in the slick range developed for use on the track. Can also be used without tyrewarmers or a specific set-up, RACETEC ™ TD Slick is introduced in four 17-inch sizes, specifically: 120/70 front and 180/55, 190/55 e 200/55 rear. Among the aspects are: versatility based on the type of asphalt, resistance, possibility of reversing the rear, consistency and performance efficiency. A slick product but usable without additional material, as indicated, aimed at a wide range of users who love circuits.
