Metzeler Day 2021: the season starts with registrations opening for the Vallelunga stage [PHOTO]

The season of days Metzeler Day 2021 is inaugurated with the launch of the new e-commerce site dedicated to events linked to the brand.

The new portal, available in Italian and English, is dedicated to the events and experiences offered by the blue elephant brand to motorcyclist enthusiasts. The site allows you to choose the circuit and preferred date, then fill out the registration form and proceed with payment in just a few steps. The terms and conditions are also on the portal, along with the complete regulations for each event.

Motorcycles equipped exclusively with tires from the ranges are allowed access to the track at the Metzeler Day sessions Metzeler Racetec™ e Sportec™. The permitted tires include sports tyres Sportec™ M7 RR e Sportec™ M9 RR of the road overview, the racing ones Racetec™ Slick e Racetec™ RR and the most recent one Racetec™ TD Slick. This is a slick tire designed for use on the track, which can also be used without tire warmers and does not require a particular set-up of the vehicle, as indicated. Among the peculiarities of the new Racetec™ TD Slick are: constant performance, possibility of reversing the direction of rotation of the rear, performance, abrasion resistance and versatility on different types of asphalt and temperatures.

We start with a double appointment at the Autodromo Vallelunga Piero Taruffi and there are a total of four track days on the following circuits:

– 29 and 30 May 2021 – Autodromo Vallelunga Piero Taruffi
– 1 August 2021 – Tazio Nuvolari Cervesina Circuit
– 24 October 2021 – Mugello International Circuit

In each Metzeler Day There are four twenty-minute track sessions and those who participate are divided into three groups, considering their experience levels. Metzeler track engineers and special guests were present to give advice on the bike's set-up and the correct use of the tyres. At the end, each member will be able to take home the memory of what they experienced with the photos taken on the occasion included in the package, as indicated.
