Metzeler Cruisetec: the new tire for Custom Touring

Metzeler – The latest edition of Custombike-Show which was held in Bad Salzuflen, in Germany, represented the ideal location for Metzeler to present Cruisetec, the new tire in the segment Custom Touring designed to optimize the performance of V-Twins by promoting handling and grip.
Metzeler Cruisetec: the features
The new Cruisetec was born with a completely new spirit based on one word: performance. In fact, it aims to be a decidedly better performing tire than those we are used to seeing on the V-Twins market. How? Increasing the grip available on dry and wet surfaces and guaranteeing high and constant performance throughout the entire life cycle of the tyre, with unique stability. All this is possible thanks to the new tread design, the compounds used and the carcass. In short, thanks to Cruisetec, you can count on more agility, greater lean angles, stability, comfort, stopping distance and cornering speed. This translates into high driving pleasure and performance that is always up to par thanks to the very shape of the tire which combines a solid tread with constant curvature profiles and the dual compound which guarantees uniform wear while preserving the profile of the tyre. Riding such demanding motorcycles in terms of weight will become smoother, easier and above all safe.
Cruisetec completes Metzeler's offering for V-Twins which will also include the ME 888 Marathontm Ultra tires (with an incredibly wide range including whitewalls, orangewalls and extra-large sizes9 and Perfect ME77 (the vintage-style tread tire developed to promote the dynamic qualities of bobber and cut-down style customizations).
