In the second month of the year, scooter registrations increase and positive values ​​are also recorded when looking at motorbikes. Considering the data released by Confindustria ANCMA (National Cycle Motorcycle Accessories Association), after the good start of the year, in the motorcycle, scooter and moped market in February there was an overall growth of 20,9% on the same month of 2022. Only the data related to mopeds and the electric segment are negative.

February results

Picking up right from the market of electrical specimens, in this 2023 continues to not shine and in the last month there were 838 vehicles entered, a decrease of 3,23% compared to the same month last year. In the first two months, the decline in this segment was 10,82% compared to 2022, with 1.706 units. It should be remembered that in the first two months of 2022 an increase of 82% was confirmed.
Moving on to the market in the two-wheeled specimens overall, growth in the first two months of 2023 remains consistent with 44.994 examples marketed, an increase of 28,39%. In the cumulative annual figure, scooters continue to animate the market, given the 22.030 registered vehicles and an increase of 58,91%. Motorbikes follow with 20.751 vehicles and an increase of 13,55%, while two months in a row in negative territory mopeds slow down, given the 2.213 units entered and a drop of 23,90%.
In February, market volumes increased by a fifth, an increase of 20,98% compared to February 2022, reaching a total value of 23.676 examples. The result highlights the progress of scooters with 11.309 vehicles and an increase of 44,62%, just as the trend of motorbikes is positive, growing by 7,03% with 11.266 units sold. On the other hand, mopeds are down, as mentioned: 1.101 examples in total and a drop of 10,05%.
