Motorcycle and scooter market, ANCMA: a decline of -1,8% at the end of June

Proposed by Confindustria ANCMA (National Association of Motorcycle Cycle Accessories) the data relating to the market of motorized two-wheeled models in June. Considering the registrations of motorbikes, scooters and mopeds, this is highlighted an overall decline of 1,8% on the same month last year.

Also substantially in line with the month's figure cumulative annual: -2% compared to the first half of 2021. Scooters were negative, with a decline of 10,9% corresponding to 82.021 units registered. Moving on to motorcycles, registered 79.162 units with an increase of 6,1%. The progress of mopeds was also good with 11.643 vehicles sold and an increase of 19,8%.
The trend of the prices was also positive in June electric vehicles, in light of some orders and because of the incentives. An increase of 152,3% with 3.561 registered vehicles. The cumulative figure is not far from doubling, in comparison with the same period of the previous year, given the 9.171 vehicles sold and an increase of 82,2%.
Overall in June the market seems to be stagnating, in light of the -1,8% figure with 40.871 models sold. The performance of mopeds was good, also supported by the electricity market with a +53,1% figure corresponding to 3.603 vehicles. The performance of scooters is still negative, decreasing since February, with a decline of 6,7% and 21.144 registrations. Motorcycles were also down, a decrease of 3% with 16.124 units sold.
