Motorcycle and scooter market, ANCMA: -18,2% in January
A decreasing opening which also includes electric vehicles
A negative figure for registrations of motorcycle, scooter e mopeds a January 2021: -18,2% on the same month last year. It emerges from a press release released by ANCMA (National Association of Motorcycle Cycle and Accessories).

Repercussions also for the food market electric vehicles, however considering the start of 2020 characterized by the purchase of fleets. Overall 485 vehicles with a decrease of 60,57%. Mopeds fell by 66% compared to 263 vehicles sold, just as scooters fell by 57% with 188 registrations. On the other hand, the motorbikes went against the trend with 34 units and a doubling of last year's volumes of +100%, as reported.
Moving on to internal combustion vehicles, during January there was a decline of 16% in registered vehicles (scooters and motorbikes) compared to the same period in 2020. 12.298 vehicles were sold. A negative figure linked to the decline in the market linked to scooter, down by 22,98% and 6.015 registrations. Speaking of motorcycle 6.283 specimens were reported and -8,10%. Even in the case of mopeds there was a decline of 36% in the fifty-year-old market, equal to 1.141 vehicles sold, considering the aforementioned decline in electric vehicles which constitute a quarter of this market. Overall, in January 2021 there were a total of 13.439 vehicles, 2.992 fewer than last year with a decrease of 18,21%, as indicated.
