Two-wheeler market: +6,4% in registrations in the first half of the year

The month of June offers a prospect slightly higher than 13% of the total annual sales, based on indications linked to the two-wheel market. Taking the data reported by Confindustria ANCMA, National Association of Cycle Motorcycle Accessories, registrations in June motorcycle e scooter over 50 cc they turned out 28.363 corresponding to a value + 2,9 %, considering an indicated stabilization of the market for motorcycle (10.839 unit, + 0,7 %) and scooters (17.524 registrations, + 4,3 %). In flexion i “fifty”, consider the 2.318 unit (-3,7%). Overall, evaluating the first half of the year, the trend appears positive, i.e. a percentage + 6,4 % corresponding to 138.780 registered vehicles.

The data

Based on the percentage already mentioned, 75.719 are scooter (+ 5 %), 63.061 le motorcycle (+ 8,2 %). Always talking about the first six months 9.570 mopeds, i.e. motorbikes and scooters 50 cc (-2,6%). In total, again going back to what has been reported, from January to June of this year they were purchased in Italy 148.350 motorized two-wheeled vehicles, including registered motorbikes and scooters as well as vehicles 50 cc. A grown up fact of 5,8%, compared to the same period last year.
Specifically, evaluating the displacement, the positive trend of scooters continues 300-500 cc (29.209 means, + 12,3 %) to 125 cc (27.806 registrations, + 7,9 %). Moving on to the means from 150 e 250 cc the data amounts to 12.196 means (-9,9%), just as the drop in prices appears negative but less significant maxi scooter over 500 cc corresponding to 6.508 unit (-4,2%).
Moving on to motorcycle between 800 e 1000 cc are reported 18.292 specimens and a double-digit growth percentage, that is + 14,1 %. The outlook for models with units is also more or less stable 1.000 cc, 15.898 unit in slight bending (-0,7%) if we consider the data of 2018. The increase between was also positive 600 e 750 cc (10.320 sales and + 2,1 %), especially specimens 300-500 cc (10.644 vehicles, + 18,8 %) and 125 cc (6.555 unit, + 16,3 %). Motorcycles are different 150-250 cc, 1.352 pieces and a budget -12%.
If we evaluate by segment, then, the naked ones stand out considering the 23.035 specimens (+ 2 %) and road enduros with 22.888 unit (well + 19,7 %). So the touring models are included, well 8.268 registered units (+ 6,8 %); custom with 3.344 means (-6%); sports with 3.004 pieces (always -6%) and supermotard, 1.822 markedly increasing motion (+ 26,7 %).
