Two-wheeler market, ANCMA: growth data in March

A lively market. Speaking of the moped market alone, 1.517 vehicles were sold, corresponding to a growing percentage of +186,2% on the same month of 2020, while for scooters and motorbikes, 16.539 and 12.445 units registered respectively, corresponding in turn to percentages by +251, 2% and +226%. Values ​​that can be assessed by remembering last year's closure, given the pandemic. Compared to the same month of 2019, however, the overall growth was 14,95%.

The data related to the is also good electrical sector. In March, we highlight the sale of 890 vehicles, equal to an increase of 297,3%. However, the annual progression was negative with 2.040 vehicles, with a decrease of 10,1%. Also in this context, the comparison, compared to 2019, highlights an overall growth of the various segments corresponding to 156,9%, as indicated.
So in first three months of the year an overall increase of 42,27% emerges in mopeds, scooters and motorbikes corresponding to 64.498 registered vehicles. Specifically: 3.926 mopeds and a percentage of -1,7%, 33.606 scooters with a value of +54,1%, 26.966 motorbikes with a figure increasing by 38%. Compared to the first quarter of 2019, the overall market grew by 10%.
