Two-wheeler market, ANCMA: considering 2019 a growing figure in July

The good trend continues market national manufacturer of mopeds, scooters and motorbikes also in the month of July with an overall growth of 9,4% compared to the more significant 2019, as indicated in the press release on registration data disclosed by Confindustria ANCMA (National Association of Cycle Motorcycle Accessories).

The situation

The data compared with the same month of 2020 report instead -12%, recalling a period characterized by uncertainty and rebounds in sales, but overall the market continues towards a constant return to normality, as indicated on the occasion.
Citing the values, in the first seven months of the year there was an overall increase of 36,5% equal to 211.760 registered two-wheeled vehicles. Considering mopeds alone, 12.178 and +8,96% were reached, while moving on to scooters the figure amounts to 110.806 with +37,4% and finally 88.776 motorbikes and a progress of +40,43%. Compared to the first seven months of 2019, there was a market increase of 17,1%.
Looking at the interesting electric landscape, 1.214 vehicles were confirmed sold in July, an increase of 57%. The annual progression is also good, given the 6.338 units and a progress of 34,51%. Again making a comparison with 2019, the overall growth was 127,1%.
During the month of July, 35.322 examples (-12%) were registered on the market, considering mopeds and registered vehicles. Overall, 2.368 mopeds sold with a decrease of 27,2% on the same month of 2020; 18.745 scooters (-13,95%) and 14.209 motorbikes (-5,95%). The comparison with the same month of 2019, as mentioned, shows a growth of 9,4%.
