During the 3rd edition of the International Meeting a Milano Marittima which concerns in particular foreign importers from all over Europe, the United States and South America, while the meeting dedicated to the Italian market is scheduled for the month of October in Naples; presented by MBM cycles new 2023 models. In particular seven e-bikes and Muscular gravel.

A varied production

Together with the frames made in hydroformed aluminium, a material of low weight, resistant and able to take on any shape through the push of a fluid brought to the highest pressures, figure, in particular on the new electric and muscular Gravel models, the carbon fork which transmits lightness and accentuated dynamic sensations.
In the new proposal, the name of some models also changes with the introduction of the terms Pro and Plus. The first underlines a bicycle with high profile features, the second a model with intermediate aspects. The model with the single name is a basic version aimed, in terms of equipment and price, at a wide audience.
Speaking of e-bikes, mention is also made of the combined drive units. The new engine 90 Nm Edge OILS appears on all the new MBMs marked with the Pro wording. The weight amounts to just 3 kg and promises a rapid reaction and a marked fluidity of power. An interesting aspect is the unique sensor capable of measuring torque twice as much as any other competitor, according to the information.
Then there is also the new FSA System HM 1.0 engine which debuts within the 2023 proposal and in particular on the e-Gravel Keres Plus model.

This is a unit developed by FSA in Italy, like the 20-cell batteries, characterized by compact dimensions and a weight reduced to less than 4 kg, which according to the information integrates with the specimen.
In summary, the MBM Bike proposal for 2023 includes eight new models, starting with the Gravel type specimen called Look for then another seven e-bikes: Erebus Pro, Hyperion Pro e Hyperion Plus, Kairos Pro e Kairos Plus, Keres Plus e Sinope Pro. New creations that enrich a proposal of around 70 models already present in the price list including electric bikes, hybrids, city bikes, old style, folding, cruiser, mountain bikes, freestyle and models intended for very young people.

The new muscle bicycle

Look for it is the new muscular gravel model equipped with a hydroformed aluminum frame, FSA Omega crankset, disc brakes, 11-speed Sram gearbox and features that project it high in its respective segment.

The new e-bikes

Erebus Pro it is a new trekking bike with a 28-inch hydroformed aluminum frame, characterized by a horizontal barrel and Suntour fork to be able to tackle various types of routes, even with rough terrain. The wheels and tires are 28 inches to support agile agility and features the new 90 Nm OLI Edge engine.
Hydraulic disc brakes (180 at the front and 160 at the rear) and a 10-speed gearbox also appear in the technical framework.

Hyperion Pro it is the new e-MTB signed MBM with a hydroformed aluminum frame and without welding in many parts, with different geometries compared to the Plus version (another new feature described below). It features a fork with 150 millimeters of travel and 29-inch wheels. This is also equipped with the new 90 Nm OLI Edge motor located centrally and supported by a 630 Wh battery. A 12-speed Sram rear gearbox is also highlighted.

Hyperion Plus, which takes the place of the Hyperion example, is the new 29-inch full e-MTB with an 85 Nm OLI Sport Plus engine. This model can be equipped with a telescopic seat post and the information display is a color LCD. A weight of 23 kg is also highlighted.
This is a model suitable for not too demanding trails, considering a suspension travel of 140 mm. It can be distinguished from the previous example both by observing the features of the frame and by considering the new 17,5 Ah and 630 Wh battery. Among the aspects mentioned also a braking system with 4-piston systems from Shimano and 203 mm Promax discs at the front and 180 at the rear, while the gearbox and 11-speed control are Shimano Deore.

Kairos Pro it is a front e-MTB characterized by a hydroformed aluminum frame, 120 mm fork, 200 and 180 Sram disc brakes on the front and rear respectively, a 12-speed cassette and 29-inch wheels. Located centrally is the new 90 Nm OLI Edge motor, so the battery is 630 Wh.

Kairos Plus it repeats the previously described example but is suitable for a wider audience. It features a hydroformed aluminum frame, a 110mm fork, 180 disc brakes on both sides, an 11-speed rear cassette, a mid-mounted OLI Sport 85Nm motor and 29-inch wheels.

Keres Plus it is the e-Gravel developed with a hydroformed and lightweight aluminum frame with valuable aspects such as an FSA Omega crankset, hydraulic brakes with 160 discs on both sides, a new 1.0 Nm FSA System HM 42 engine located on the rear hub and the 250 Wh battery with the opportunity to add a second 250 Wh battery in the bottle cage, then an 11-speed Sram rear gearbox.

Sinope Profinally, it is the new MBM trekking bike with a unisex frame in hydroformed aluminum without a 28-inch horizontal barrel. It features a new and powerful 90 Nm OLI Edge motor paired with a 630 Wh battery, 180 front and 160 rear size disc brakes, as well as a 10-speed gearbox.
