MBE Award 2021: a digital edition of the contest

The edition of MBE Award 2021, the contest for customized motorbikes, is available in digital form by consulting the pages of the exhibition dedicated to customized motorbikes.

A new challenge online

After reporting the next appointment of the event Motor Bike Expo, Scheduled 13 al 16 January 2022, the organizers of the exhibition decided to develop a new digital competition formula to evaluate the interaction with enthusiasts and broaden the visibility of the preparers. There are several new features: participation by invitation, popular jury, 1 vs 1 challenges, national stage e international.
Organized by the Motor Bike Expo staff, the contest “MBE Award” allows the election of the most popular motorbike among those noticed at the fair, chosen by a jury made up of the major exponents of the custom world, coming from the United States, Asia and Europe. During the "Special Edition" it was not possible to give space to the event in the live formula, but avoiding skipping the contest edition and giving up its official competition, a new modality was thought of.
The formula does not include a selection from the "Top 10", but becomes a tournament between sixteen participants in a direct comparison. The pairings of the first challenges will be decided by chance, then leaving room for voting. The challenge is promoted on MBE's main digital channels, from the website to the social pages.
In each challenge, only one bike claiming the title goes through, until the final in which the two customizations that received the most preferences will compete.
To convince the public, each preparer has a photo booth studio photo, a technical sheet and a video where he can illustrate the project. The voting for each challenge continues for 24 hours, after which the name of those who enter the next round will be known.
The participants received an invitation from the organizers, proposing a special that was strictly not presented to the public before 2020. The participants listed are 16, as mentioned: Abnormal Cycles (Milan); Bertolini Racing (Brescia); Boccin Custom Cycles (Venice); Boldi (Brescia); Boman Kustom Bike (Cuneo); Bottega Bastarda (Forlì); DMC (Asti); ED Special (Rome); Hazard Motorcycles (Bergamo); Matteucci Garage (Fermo); Mattiazzi Alessio (Treviso); MC Cycles (Treviso); Mr Martini (Verona); Niko Bikes (Rome); Officine GP Design (Turin); PDF Vanishing Point (Bergamo).
The winner of the "MBE Award - King of Italy 2021" contest moves on to the international phase for the digital title of "King of the World", competing with representatives of 15 countries, as mentioned.
On this occasion the jury changes, no longer made up of the international guests of MBE but of enthusiasts, who through the official MBE Facebook page will be able to select their favorite motorbikes with the use of reactions and elect the most beautiful and the customizer "King of Italy".
