Pirelli: Max Biaggi testing the new Angel GT motorcycle tires

The multiple world champion Max Biaggi Pirelli exceptional tester in an unprecedented wet braking test: nailing a motorbike launched onto the flight deck of a military aircraft carrier, with asphalt sprayed by water pumps at 17 atmospheres.

It happened on the Cavour aircraft carrier of the Italian Navy anchored in the new naval base of Taranto, which was the unprecedented test track for the presentation of the sport touring tire Pirelli Angel GT, developed for naked, supersport and touring motorcycles.

The new Angel GTs allowed Biaggi to first unload all the horsepower of his motorcycle to the ground and then guarantee him an immediate stop on the wet asphalt.

The unprecedented test was carried out by Pirelli thanks to the precious and professional collaboration of Difesa Servizi SpA and in particular the Italian Navy, which made the flight deck of the Cavour ship moored in the military port of Taranto available.
